The thing that lets this company down is the total lack of any communication and where are the Terms and Conditions? That you can't easily find them make you doubt the validity of this company quite a lot. I should be able to view the T&C and download them at anytime whenever I want. Where are they? I didn't know that until I got the package. You won't have any indication of when to expect the package. SHOP only tells you the item is being prepared for shipping but not when it's shipped... Royal Mail don't give you any clues other than it's coming today so you'd better have checked your emails. You don't know what the processes are for notifications until it's all over! This is just really shoddy! I won't buy from them again!
Armadillidium Klugii "Montenegro" or "Clown" Isopods
A beautiful classic for any isopod collection. Armadillidium Klugii "Montenegro" are a brilliant, medium sized isopod from, would you guess - Montenegro!
This striking species of isopod sports white and yellow spots over their grey / brown bodies with a contrasting red / orange skirt.
These isopods do well at average UK room temperatures (around 20°C). They enjoy a nice moisture gradient, general guidance would be to keep 1/3 of the enclosure moist. They enjoy a variety of foods such as:
- Washed and peeled vegetable scraps
- leaf litter
- rotten hardwoods.
Ensure they have access to a good source of calcium, we would recommend either cuttlebone, eggshells or oyster shells.
Armadillidium Klugii "Montenegro" are a great species for both beginners and experienced keepers, they breed very well in captivity.
Please note: All isopods and other exiting terrarium pets are captive bred by us here at The Bug Room. We will always send a mix of sizes to maximise the success of your colony.
