Live Sphagnum Moss is an essential addition for terrarium enthusiasts seeking natural moisture retention and a vibrant, lush environment. This moss is collected rinsed and soaked with distilled water for 48 hours to minimise unwanted hitch hikers.

Live sphagnum moss is known for its excellent water-holding capacity, this moss helps maintain humidity levels, promoting healthy plant growth and creating a stable microclimate. Its natural antimicrobial properties reduce the risk of mold and bacteria, ensuring a clean and thriving terrarium ecosystem.

Great for terrariums and humid vivariums. We use the same moss all of our critters here at The Bug Room and its even used as a part of our substrate mix.
