I often watch my millipede struggling at the kettle bone that I’ve got. This is an absolutely genius idea. Bring it down nice and small for them. They seem to like them. They’ve mixed it into the substrate I bought so that no matter where they are in the tank even when they’re melting they’ll have access to it then somewhere nearby. I just think it’s a great idea.

Natural crushed oyster shells are a fantasic source if calcium and more economical than using cuttlebone as a supplemental calcium source for isopods and millipedes.
